FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE 26 Feb 2009
All-new Insight could save businesses thousands
Honda’s Insight has confirmed its status as the most affordable hybrid on the market with the announcement of exceptionally low running costs that could save company car fleets thousands of pounds.
As well as an on-the-road price much lower than any of its competitors (SE models start from £15,490), the Insight’s high residual values, class-leading SMRs, reduced BIK contributions (10%) and great fuel economy create a host of additional savings over the whole life of the car.
"It has always been our intention to launch a more affordable hybrid and these latest independent figures verify our claims,” said Graham Avent, Manager – Corporate Operations, Honda (UK). “Whether it’s low depreciation, class-leading servicing costs or great fuel economy that offers diesel mileage at petrol prices, the Insight delivers a win on all levels. In the current economic climate I am confident the Insight will prove to be a perfect car for its time."
Residual values for the Insight are the highest of any hybrid car:
Insight SE 43%
Insight ES 43%
Insight ES-T 44%
