The British Superbike Championship is undoubtedly one of the toughest domestic motorsport series in the world. Riders compete on showroom look-alike 200bhp race machines.
This year, Honda Racing's Ryuichi Kiyonari is the defending Champion. The 24-year-old rider from Japan lifted the coveted trophy at the final round at Brands Hatch last year; after an intense season-long battle. This year, the Honda rider is joined by 20-year-old Jonathan Rea, who with a fourth place finish in the overall Championship standings in 2006, was the highest-finishing youngest rider ever in BSB.
