We're not going to lecture you on climate change. You understand about rising CO2 levels, and you know engine manufacturers have a role to play in changing the way we get around the planet. We know that too, but it's not something we've just figured out in the last few years. Honda has been working on this for decades. Way back in 1956, company founder Soichiro Honda said: "After materials are carried into the factory, nothing but products should be carried out." Today, this has been achieved with zero waste to landfill at all Japanese manufacturing plants and Swindon to achieve this by 2010.
